The Measure tool helps you calculate distances between multiple points on the map. It’s ideal for drawing planned routes, estimating travel paths, or saving custom trolling paths and trotlines.
How to access Measure tool
1. Open Map tool menu (white “+” button) on the bottom-right of your main map screen
2. Select “Measure”
3. Tap the blue “+” button to start adding measure points
OR
1. Tap anywhere on the map to open the “About this location” menu
2. Select “Measure distances”
3. Tap the blue “+” button to start adding measure points
Measuring distances
- Add multiple points to the map to measure the total distance between them.
- Individual segment lengths between points are also displayed.
- Drag points to adjust their position.
- Use it to plan routes or explore distances between landmarks, fishing spots or other points.
Saving locations through the Measure tool
You can save your measured paths as Trotlines or Trolling Paths:
Save Trotline:
1. Add 2 points
2. Select “Save as trotline”
3. Tap “Save” to confirm
Save Trolling path:
1. Add 3 or more points
2. Select “Save as trolling”
3. Tap “Save” to confirm
